Set up Tally for the AI

1. Install the connector on the computer where Tally runs (Windows). It is one small program; it only makes outgoing connections, so nothing in your firewall or router changes.
2. Turn on Tally's XML server: in TallyPrime press F1 (Help), Settings, Connectivity, and set Tally to act as a server on port 9000. Open the company you want to share.
3. Enter the pairing code shown on this page when the connector asks for it. The connector then shows Connected, and so does your account page.

The connector reads your Tally on that computer and passes answers straight to the AI app you allow. It starts in read-only mode and nothing is copied to our servers.

Good to know

Start with one company open in Tally. If Tally is closed or asleep the AI sees "offline" rather than old data. You can disconnect at any moment on your account page.
